Day 5 of Istria Road Trip (ShareIstria: Day 5)

Ah, the morning view from the Porer lighthouse - tranquility and endless view of the sea.

Boat is waiting for the ride to Pula. As we say goodbye to the Poper lighthouse, there's a homesick feeling as if we had stayed at the lighthouse for months.

Next stop is Aquacolors Porec for water fun and to meet Marko who will be our guide for the remaining days.

On the way to Aquacolors Porec, we also stop by Limski Canal. Goran knows just the right spot to catch the magnificent view.

After few hours of splashing fun at Aquacolors Porec, we say goodbye to Goran and thank him, with a big hug, for taking care of us for the last 4 days. Istria Tourist Board is really lucky to have Goran and Marko on their team.

Next stop is Restaurant Zigante, in Livade, 35 km away. This is the restaurant of the famous Zigante truffle family.  In November 1999, Giancarlo Zigante found the biggest known truffle in the world, which weighted 1.310 kg, and entered the Guinness book of records.

After a delicious meal with truffles, we head to the famous Motovun, 4 km away,  for a night at Motovun Kastel.

Motovun is beautiful and mystic! There's a mythical charm to Motovun that takes over you as you enter the city walls.

Tonight there's also a concert at night by Putokazi. What a nice way to end another amazing ShareIstria day.
